This will be a deep dive into a profound work called Yoga and the Quest for the true Self by Stephen Cope. Most Americans know yoga as a superb form of exercise and as a potent source of calm in our stress-filled lives. Far fewer are aware of the full promise of yoga as a practical path of liberation. This book explains in a demystified way the philosophy, psychology and practice of yoga and shows how it applies to our most human dilemmas. This is a down to earth, spiritually mature, and compassionate teaching that integrates the best of yoga and our own Western humanity

Each gathering in this 6-week series will consist of  discussion/sharing and Q&A.Prep work will consist of reading for the following week from specific chapters. The remaining chapters are for you to read in your own leisurely time. Mainly, we ask that you come to join the group with an open mind and open heart.
